I went to A&E on the advice of 111 as I have a tracheostomy and believed it to be infected, the triage nurse got me straight in and isolated from others and I then saw a doctor straight away, prescribed IV antibiotics and taken to Dorrell ward within the space of 2 hours , the staff on Dorrell should receive a medal for their nursing care and compassion
