"My husband"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Neurosurgery (Ward 64 – 66)

(as a relative),

My husband was in Queen Elizabeth Neurology dept ward 63 for 20 days. The care he received from every member of Mr Barrett’s team was outstanding. My husband was treated with dignity, respect and understanding. As visiting was suspended he was able to phone me and when I contacted the ward I was always given a full up date and was always asked would I like to take to him.   Thank you to everyone   at ward 63 for giving me my husband back.

Hello Katy C,

I'm sorry to hear of your husband's recent stay in hospital. It must have been a worrying time for you both and I hope he is on the mend now.

I have shared your post with Graham Christie, the Clinical Service Manager for Neurology, who was delighted to recieve your kind words and has shared them with the team at Ward 63.

It is reassuring to know that your husband was treated with dignity, respect and understanding and that you were kept informed at all times. Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us.

Wishing you both all the very best,

Rachel
