"All staff were very helpful"

About: Royal Hospital for Children and Young People (Edinburgh) / Paediatric surgery

(as a parent/guardian),

Our son was referred to the Sick kids in Edinburgh and was diagnosed with appendicitis. Surgery took place very quickly and he was out the next day and is now nearly fully recovered at home.

All the staff were very helpful and were on top of all the Covid 19 measures. 

The communication from the clinical staff was excellent.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback with us following your son's appendicitis. I was really pleased to read that everything went smoothly especially during this difficult COVID-19 time.

I have shared your lovely comments with the staff at RHSC and l am sure they will be delighted to read your kind words.

I am pleased to read that you son is almost fully recovered and hope that he is enjoying the rest of the summer holidays.
