This was the start of my new journey without alcohol, I join CGL in January which was all new to me, I started attending Peer support groups, then because of covid 19, this all stopped, my drinking was getting worse, which led to further health problems, and with the family, I ask my Recovery worker, if I could apply for a home detox, which she did, then I was given a start date for my detox which was the 29th June, I was very nervous, but I new this was the start of my new journey, which would change my life, and bring my family closes to me again,

I am now into 9th day alcohol free, I feel brilliant in myself, happy and proud that I have done this, with the support of Katie who is the Nurse, who was excellent  and John who was fanatics supporting threw this with his experience  motivation and advise.
