"Can't get through on surgery phone number"

About: Laurie Pike Health Centre

My mum who is 70 years old can't get her medication, which has been missing from her order on two occasions. She has contacted the pharmacy who can't help and advised her to contact the surgery. The phone line works, she waits on the line until it's our turn and then gets cut-off. Can someone sort the line out... the service is poor. Where do elderly patients go for help?

Good Morning, I am sorry that your Mom has been having difficulty getting through on our phone lines. As you can imagine we are a very large practice and sometimes it can take a while to get through on our phone lines as they are extremely busy. I can assure you we will do our best to get this situation rectified for you as soon as possible. We can have a look at our calls and if we can get the telephone number that was used to call and the times we can try and find out what has been happening. If you can send the details through on our email account we can try and get to the bottom of what has been happening with your mothers medication too. Please use our generic email account if you struggle on the telephone. Once again, apologies for any inconvenience that this may have caused.
