The surgery have changed to a Telephone First system due to the Coronavirus pandemic but this is much better for me and I had no problem booking a call back from the GP. I spoke to the doctor the same day and my prescription was sent electronically to the chemist. I collected my medication later that same day. I am very pleased with the service from the GP surgery.
