"Wet Weather queue"

About: Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust

May I ask that during this present health crisis when those awaiting a blood test are required to wait before gaining access to the Blood Test building - that some form of cover is arranged during wet weather. Today those queuing outside got very wet. A simple corridor length gazebo would make all the difference covering the access ramp. Depending on weather, it would also protect from the sun . While I am aware of the extreme pressures faced by the NHS this would seem a relatively simple and inexpensive solution - and would make a great deal of difference avoiding people becoming very wet, which is what happened to many of us today. Given that anyone needing a blood test will have some health issues standing out side in the rain for up to 15 minutes is not good practice. Staff inside were extremely efficient but cannot be expected to arrange what is a Management responsibility.
