"Positive experience of the NHS"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Accident & Emergency University Hospital Ayr / Cardiology University Hospital Ayr / Combined Assessment Unit (CAU) University Hospital Ayr / General Medicine

(as the patient),

I recently had multiple stays in Ayr hospital, and received a high level of care from everyone I came into contact with. I was cared for by A+E, the CAU, Ambulatory Care, and the CCU, and all staff were professional, but friendly and approachable. They also accommodated me to have my 4 month old baby with me, which was a huge relief to me, and felt like truly person centred care. I especially want to thank Dr Chong for his ongoing care, I cannot praise him highly enough for his fantastic bedside manner, his commitment and dedication to ensure I receive the correct treatment, and his sensitive and empathetic approach. I am truly grateful, and very thankful for NHS Ayrshire and Arran.
