I was a mess. My life was a mess. I can in and had all my details taken and had everything about my stay described to me. I was given clean bedding and someone was with me all night. Sometimes we talked but they knew when I didn’t want to. I was offered food, hot drinks and cold drinks throughout the night and in the morning. Each time there was a staff change they all introduced themselves to me, checking I was ok and asking if I needed anything. I was assessed at 11.45am by another set of such lovely, kind and compassionate professionals and it was agreed I could go home. As I left the room was being thoroughly cleaned and the cleaners were also very nice and talked to me. I attended a follow up the next day and the consultant said he could see a spark in me that he wanted to bring out.
I cannot thank each and every one for the care and compassion they gave me during the darkes days of my whole life. I left with hope and positivity for my future ❤️
