I went to A&E with very heavy bleeding from a miscarriage last week and was so grateful and impressed by the care from all the staff. The A&E nurse was so thoughtful and sympathetic as well as being really efficient. The doctors (from gynaecology and the EPAU) were thorough and kept me informed about what was happening as well as being really sympathetic. I think it shows a positive hospital culture that the (youngish) doctor who first checked me called her supervisor for a second opinion rather than just hoping for the best. Thanks very much for your excellent care, especially in the middle of the night, in the middle of a pandemic!
