I took my son today 26/06 to have a blood test. Our appt was at 0910 Hrs, that being the first appt I could get as I need to attend to work afterwards. We arrived before time and sat in the reception. By 0920 Hrs, two other patients had been seen and gone. I asked the receptionist, when we are due and she replied the nurse will see us soon. After 10 minutes, I knocked on the nurse door, she was talking to another member of staff. I asked when we will be seen, she replied I should not rush her as she was overbooked. I mentioned that I did not see how that was anything to do with me and explained that I would be late for work. She waived me away by hand and continued to talk to her colleague. I went and sat back at the reception, and after approximately 15 minutes, the nurse called my son, we both walked to her room and sat done. She started berating me telling me I will be seen when she feels like and I had no say on her work. I kept quiet while she was shouting at me while at times pointing her finger at me. She took my son’s blood sample. When finished, my son and I walked out, she followed us while grinding her teeth. I said I will make a complaint, she replied nothing will happen. We left the premise at around 0940 Hrs.
