"Felt more safe and secure"

About: Victoria Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

Before I came in to hospital I felt frightened and did not want to come in. But what the doctor had said when I was at home that I needed to be admitted.

When I was in the other wards I felt they didn't have enough time for me. Since coming on ward 53 I've felt more secure and safe because the staff are making sure I'm getting looked after and nothing is a bother. If I press the buzzer, someone is there although its different staff at different times, I feel they are all the same and really appreciate the time spent with me.
