"Total and utter waste of time"

After being constantly let down for years by Lincolnshire's wholly inadequate mental health services and after three stressfully tedious sessions with steps2

change I realised that it was these sessions that were actually causing me even more stress so I discharged myself from steps2change forthwith. And I still dont understand the concept of a "fully qualified trainee" but there you go. If I were honest I find them a bit condecending and I still cannot see any real justification steps2change's existance. I was promised a pyscologist to help me with my PTSD and I have been let down time after time after time by Lincolnshire's mental health infastructure. I think also in general these people throughout the whole Lincolnshire mental health infastructure prefer to see you more compliant and dosed up to the eyeballs on antidepressants which only masks the problem but dosent cure it... certainly not for me thank you very much!

Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. steps2change is a provider of the national Improving Access to Psychological Therapies program, which follows the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidelines in the treatment of depression and/or anxiety. I am sorry your experience was not of the high standard I expect and it would be really helpful if you could contact our PALS colleagues lpft.pals@nhs.net so I can look into your case specifically and support you to get the treatment you require,

Nick Harwood (Service Manager)
