"5 * NHS SERVICE"

I attended on 10/07/18 around 15.00

I can not express how impressed and satisfied I was as a patient from the service I received today.

I work and train within the NHS myself working within a Children’s Hospital therefore I can understand the pressures and high partient workload the staff have.

From arriving at reception to be greeted by a very friendly receptionist who advised myself that it would be best too book in and reassured myself. Not only this she actually asked myself questions such as did I feel sick or have any chest pain? This is above and beyond for a receptionist, clearly not just doing administration alone but genuinely caring for the patients who arrive.

I was called in by the triage nurse within less that 5 mins of waiting.

Her professionalism and communication was the best you could ask for. I felt apologetic for arriving with just low blood pressure as I felt I was wasting their time ( I probably was!) but she made me feel comfortable and told me it was best to be checked and made me feel calm! Her knowledge was great too, being a student it’s nice too see role model nurses in practice!

I sat down outside and within 2 mins I got called in again by the DR

You could not ask for better!

He not only was unbelievably professional, he was informative, empathetic and thorough!

He covered everything but at the same time made me feel calm! Although I work in a hospital being a patient is on a different level and makes me nervous regardless of my role!

The dr gave me great advice and what too do!

I’m not one too leave reviews but when you see a whole team such as the receptionist, nurse and Dr work together and deliver the best care in such a short amount of time it has to be acknowledge.

I hope the staff can be credited for their hard work!!!
