I've been volunteering at CGL in Halton for 6 years now and been in recovery myself for 7 years. I Just wanted to say thankyou to all the team who have helped me, I wouldn't be were I am today without each and every one of them old and new. I've recently realised I wasn't dealing with some stuff, and Jodie my line manager put me on to some one who could help and since then I feel myself blossoming. I now have a plan in place, and my boundaries are also firmly in place which In my personal life which I've struggled to do in the past. I now know exactly what I want to do. Thank you Jodie your support over the last few years even when I didn't want it has been amazing. Thankyou for not giving up on me even when I was giving up on myself. I feel so grateful for all the support from the Halton team. And I look forward to learning more from each and every one of you guys: ) Thankyou

Thank you not just for the lovely feedback but for the time you give to support others. I have seen the work you are doing with our clients and you show that you truly care. I'm happy to hear how supported you have felt and have shared this story with the team. I'm pleased that we have been able to continue supporting you as a volunteer, we are all a work in progress and it sounds like you have the support in place that you needed. You are already a valuable member of our team but I am seeing you blossom and am looking forward to seeing what you do next. I hope you are too.
