I'm currently pregnant with my first child and so far my experience at Kings has been abysmal. Poor communication, throughout, appointments changing in response to Covid but little to no support on what is happening, address details of rescheduled appointments, speak to a different midwife every time, they have missed deadlines for injections with have meant I have had to come back to attend walk in's which often involve waiting for over an hour in between trying to carry on doing a full time job. None of the midwife contact details seem to work, left countless voice mails, no one returns my calls ever. Reception is worse than useless, I find front of house staff unfriendly and they seem to snap back at basic questions asked.
Overall, I have zero faith in the maternity team at Kings which doesn't bode well given I haven't yet given birth. I'm bitterly disappointed with the entire experience and will not be recommending Kings to anyone else I know. I'm loathed to step foot in the place ever again and I feel that they are responsible for being a main cause of stress throughout my first pregnancy. Thank god, I don't seem to have had any major issues, I feel so sorry for women who have complicated pregnancies and have to rely on this team for help.
"Poor communication throughout"
