"The service has changed my life"

About: St Helens Integrated Recovery Service

(as a service user),

I’ve been in treatment nearly 30yrs. This service changed my life from me walking through their doors in December 2018. I’m living proof that we can all change grow and live, this service has helped me massively I arrived in what I stood in in a strange town on my own, cgl has changed my life, now I’m a service user rep, naloxone peer educator living in my own flat living drug free, during my time I’ve been encouraged in every area from housing, benefits, accessing other services to rebuild my life, and maintain my recovery. I am truly grateful to my keyworker Martine, Amanda and manager Rachel for always encouraging me to carry on also all the other staff,

During Covid 19 cgl have gone above and beyond to make sure we are all supported and know that there for us
