My partner attended the hospital today due to her having an infected toe, which consequently was sending shooting pains up her leg. She was finding it hard to walk on it, and with her being on the frontline and working retail, she is working in heptic environments to make sure that people have their daily necessities. She was finding it hard to work with the infection. Whilst attending this hospital, the nurse made a comment to her face 'its not even THAT infected' whilst looking at her as if she was stupid to have come down to the hospital today. She then proceeded to exit the room to get the antibiotics and she said to another nurse 'Its really stupid' and looked back towards the room my partner was in and the other nurse agreed. I understand we are currently in a pandemic but my partner has been putting off seeking medical attendance due to this, but it only grew worse and needed sorting as again, she is currently working retail were it is heptic due to people needing supplies during this pandemic, and she couldn't continue to do her job to the best of her ability. I think the way the staff helping her handled the situatuon was rude and quite offensive not knowing the reason behind her coming down today. Unproffessional and rude is all i have to say.
"Rude."
