My care from this team and the community midwives has been exceptional. At the start of the pandemic my partner and myself were very worried how things were going to go for us and to be able to enjoy our last pregnancy.
From meeting my community midwife Kirstie who put me completely at ease and told me every part of the process and took care of all my pregnancy care to make sure I was well and felt comfortable with all that was going on at every appointment. Then when the actual time came for me to give birth after a false start a few days earlier (which was also made very comfortable and put at ease). I went to the hospital to be met with Priscilla who delivered my last baby so knew even though I was only 3cm dilated I should not go home to carry on my labour there so kept me and my partner at the hospital because she knew how quick my baby would come.
The care and attention we both received from her and the rest of the team was outstanding and I am forever grateful to all of them. I would not of been able to do it without them. So my partner and myself would like to thank them from the bottom of our hearts for everything they did for us and we will be sad that we don’t get to experience it again but they made our last time the best ever
