"Did not receive a hot meal"

(as a relative),

My father has been in Woodpecker ward. He was not given any lunch and I was promised that he would receive something to eat and receive a hot meal in the evening. He did not receive a hot meal in the evening, he was given a salad which gave him a bad stomach.
