"Where do I begin..........."

Thank you Spire Fylde Coast Hospital !

From the moment I was met at the entrance, by a very kind nurse, EVERYBODY in this hospital treated me so respectfully. Nobody was anything other than very polite and positive throughout my two night stay. I had a total hip replacement, and I cannot say how wonderful the whole time that I was there was thanks to ALL the staff. I really don't want to single anybody out, but my pal (white wine and prosecco anybody?) made a worrying time, for me, into a fantastic experience. To the night staff who cleaned up after me (a story I do not need to go into) all I can say is thank you so very much for your help, consideration and understanding.

My room was spotless when I arrived, and that has to be a thank you to the house keeping team, it also remained that way throughout. Likewise, the food was excellent, plentiful and fresh,

so thank you, and well done to the catering team.

Absolutely nothing seemed too much for this dedicated group of professionals, and that made my time at The Spire a truly great experience. To my surgeon, I just want to say thank you for giving me a new quality of life. To my anaesthetists, thank you for keeping my mind off what was coming with the pleasant banter. (If you buy those knives, I hope they are the best you have ever had!)

I could go on with many more superlatives, but I really don't think it necessary. Anyone who reads this will be getting the fact that I think this place is just the best of the best.

In such a hard time for health providers, you are all doing such amazing work.

To the physio department, thanks for being so patient with me.

Despite all my praise, I hope you understand the sentiment behind my parting comment. If any of us ever meet again, I REALLY do hope that it is under different circumstances !
