About: Leeds General Infirmary / Cardiology

(as a service user),

I would like to express a huge thank you to the amazing cardiac surgeons, anaesthetist, nurses and support staff at LGI Cardiology Team L14 for their expertise and care during my PFO closure. I felt fully informed by professionals who were totally focussed on my welfare. I am so lucky to live in a country that has such skilful, dedicated and committed healthcare specialists working in our National Health Service.

Good Morning

Thank you for taking the time to write to us with your wonderful and kind comments.

I am very happy to read that we the care you received throughout your stay with us was such a positive experience and that you felt that the staff kept you informed and were focused on your welfare.

I have taken the liberty of sharing your words of support and encouragement with the Cardiology Department and asked that this is shared with all the team. I know that all the staff will be delighted to know they delivered the care that met all your expectations.

Dear Rosie,

Thank you for your response. I suspect that too few people who receive care from our wonderful NHS really appreciate the skill, expertise and commitment provided. I for one do and am grateful that you have taken the time to respond to my comments. I also very much appreciate your sharing of my message with the cardiology team. Thank you all.
