After experiencing an increase in my RA symptoms I had a call from one of the surgeries GPs.
I explained I was unable to see or speak to my consultant due to the current situation.
The GP said she would write to my rheumatologist and we discussed a suitable treatment plan until i could see him. This she did, allowing me input and to make decisions.....something that is important to me.
The GP texted me to say she had secured me an appointment (with the rheumatologist), and gave me the details.
I would also like to commend the nurse from the surgery who phoned me (about an unrelated issue) and who took the the time to ask how I was and make some suggestions to move forward.
In a world where people are quick to complain, I feel the need to tell you that my service from the Aspen centre has always been prompt, professional and friendly.
