"A very smooth process"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Minor Injuries Unit Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Xrays and scans

(as a service user),

I attended after hurting my arm earlier in the day whilst out on my bike. Immediately when I arrived at Minor Injuries, I noticed the atmosphere was very relaxed and informal. It was also very calm. I didn’t have to wait that long to be seen and the nurse who saw me, Leon, was great with me. He really put me at ease and was very thorough in how he examined my arm. I had to get my arm x-rayed. This felt quite seamless and the process very smooth. Again the radiographer, Mafi, was lovely with me; very calm and patient. From entering Minor Injuries to leaving with a sling, I would highly praise the place. I’m very anxious in hospitals however I felt very calm in there today.

Dear LalaLand

Thank you so much for the feedback, I'll make sure to pass this on to the team and in particular Leon and Mafi. It is great to hear you felt the atmosphere put you ease and it all was seamless.

Thanks Simon
