"Fantastic Ward"

About: Derriford Hospital

I was admitted to Fal Ward for a procedure on my lung Unfortunately ended up on intensive care , then moved Honeyford Ward where l spend ten days .All l can say was the treatment l received was first class & all the staff were amazing.

The extra pressure they were all under due to the worry of the Covid 19 situation , & having no family visitors didn’t help the anxieties everyone had to deal with .

What a lovely compliment for the care and compassion shown to you during your stay on Intensive Care and Honeyford ward.

I'm incredibly proud of the way our staff across Intensive Care have met the increased pressure and challenge of the Covid19 situation. They have never lost sight of our patients with and without Covid at the same time they deal with their own personal concerns during this period of uncertainty.
