I would echo the experience of other people reviewing this surgery who’ve had difficulty getting through via the phone. I‘ve often experienced long waits in the queuing system which is far from ideal so I use the online services where possible to cut down on this.
However, this week when I ordered a repeat prescription and asked my friend to collect it for me, he found that my prescription was not at the pharmacy. When I checked online I found that my request had been cancelled but no one had bothered to contact me to explain why.
My medical records says I’m asymptomatic but how they’ve reached this conclusion absolutely baffles me when they’ve had absolutely no contact. I’m now faced with the joy of a long wait on the phone on Monday morning to try and resolve this. I’m not happy!
The medical care I’ve received from the practice is generally very good however the administration of services could be improved. I’m not wanting to run anyone down and the problems I have experienced may be due to resources and funding but it could be better.
