"Engaging during lockdown."

About: Inclusion Recovery Hampshire

(as a service user),

I finally downloaded teams and logged into a group session although because of technical problems I was too late but did manage to speak with Simon my keyworker. Its a good feeling to now be able to communicate and engage as boredom and isolation have become a small issue, I'm lucky to be living with my family and have access to a lovely garden and the seafront though. I am looking forward to taking part in any and all online activities going forward now so a positive move made today.

Thank you for your recent post. I am really pleased that you have been able to download teams so that you can access the online groups. I hope that you will experience a positive benefit to participating in the online activities.

I appreciate that we are all in different situations and as you say you are lucky to have your family around you and access to a garden and nature. Unfortunately not everyone is in this position and cannot get online access but staying connected and engaged in some way is an important part of recovery.

We are committed to exploring ways in which we can further support all service users to access the support they require. As government guidelines change and restrictions are lifted we hope there will be more possibilities to expand what we can offer.

I wish you all the very best in your continued recovery. Keep safe.
