"Grampian Psychological Resilience Hub"

About: Royal Cornhill Hospital / Psychological Resilience Hub

(as a staff member),

I am a staff nurse who has had long term issues with my mental health ie depression and anxiety. In light of the Covid-19, my anxiety and depression became far worse. It was recommend through the NHS Grampian Website to reach out to the services within the Grampian Psychological Resilience Hub. I filled in a self referral on line and I received a phone call the next day , from one of the professionals.  She put me at ease, reassured me and I did not feel alone in this crisis. She also suggested some tips and advice. I can’t think of the professionals name. But I cannot thank her enough.

I have a cousin nursing in Ireland and they have nothing like this while they are going through this crisis. So hats off to this fantastic service and I would recommend others to reach out and utilise this service.
