"poor service and after care communication"

About: New Cross Hospital

after a fall whilst recovering from bell`s palsy my 87 year old mother was admitted to New Cross in a great deal of pain, after a CT scan we were told there were no injury`s other that bruising to her face. they also discovered an existing injury that would require further investigation. initially we were told a biopsy would be required and an appointment would be made. we found that the allocated district nurses note stated that a biopsy had been taken and sent for investigation. having made numerous attempts at trying to talk to someone and being promised on numerous occasions we would receive call backs 8 days later we have heard nothing. since being discharged my mother has been in constant pain from apparently no other injuries. this kind or service and care to anyone is not good enough but to an 87 year old who has seldom used a service she spent a lifetime paying into and supporting is just not good enough. I will air my complain at every level in order to prevent this happening to anyone else.
