"Giving birth during lockdown"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Maternity care (Ward 31)

(as the patient),

I just want to thank all the midwifes/staff/cleaners at the RAH in paisley. From when I went in on my own to be induced they were fantastic. You wouldn't know there was a global pandemic going on. They made you feel very safe and welcoming.

I was given great care by Terri up in the ward and then when I went to labour ward I had the lovely Kenny and a student midwife called Jen. I cant thank them enough for all their help and keeping me calm!

The whole maternity section are second to none at the RAH and have been incredible throughout this pandemic keeping us mums safe and calm!

Hello Emc88,

Thank you for sharing this fantastic feedback with us. It is lovely to read that the staff at RAH made you feel safe and calm.

I have passed your feedback on to Terri, Kenny, Jen and the rest of the team at the RAH and they are absolutely delighted to know what a positive impact they have had on your experience.

All the very best,

Rachel
