"Completely ignored when trying to pick up a gp prescription"

About: Salford Royal / Accident and emergency

(as a service user),

Although there were 6 members of staff and  only one other person besides me at two of the three windows of reception I was completely ignored when trying to pick up a gp prescription, by a member of staff on a computer.

Sent from one window to another and still ignored whilst staff laughed and joked between themselves.

Even After I’d told someone I was only picking up a prescription I still had to repeat my request to another member of staff.

Such blatant inefficiency and rudeness isn’t what the nhs should be encouraging by allowing this sort of staff behaviour

Thank you for taking the time to comment and feedback as it is important to our staff and organisation to hear from people who use our services.

We apologise for how you felt when you picked up your prescription, and will pass your comments to the team to reflect when they have their team meeting.

Kind regards

The Patient Experience Team.
