"Visitors during Covid 19"

About: Whitehills Health & Community Care Centre / Strathmore Hospice

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

On speaking to a patient about their experience of how difficult it is not to have visitors at the moment based on the recommendation by NHS Tayside, they noted:

Not really difficult for me, I live alone and it's ok to be in by own company.

I have my mobile phone to keep connected to my family and I can call them when I wish to.

I like watching the TV and this helps to pass the time.

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you still feel connected with your family during this time of visiting restrictions. We hope that by asking for this feedback we can understand more about people' s care experiences and in turn make their care as good as they can be.

Thank you once again, Elaine Colville
