"Doing a great job in such a hard time"

About: Croydon University Hospital / Dermatology

(as a parent/guardian),

My son was scheduled a dermatology appointment that was then turned into a telephone assessment due to Covid. I sent some pictures through to the POD as per an administrators request and then had the phone call with the consultant. Really happy with the POD who were happy to answer my questions before the call and the consultant herself, Dr Herath, was so polite and friendly during the assessment. Despite lockdown, they managed to work their best and sort out my son's issue which we are now in the process of sorting out. Just wanted to thank them all for their hard work and for doing a great job in such a hard time.

Thank you for being understanding during the current situation. Due to increased demand on the hospital due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic we had to make some changes to our services which in some instances required us to change some appointments to a telephone consultation.

I am pleased that the appointment met with your expectations and that it resulted in sorting out your sons issues.

All our Care Opinion comments are available for staff to read on the intranet and I'm sure Dr Herath will be delighted to read this post.
