I was taken to ICU after a pre-planned surgery in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary to recover.
During my short period of time there I was looked after by two very special people during the day and the night.
Lindsey looked after me through the day, she had every attitude the perfect nurse should have, she has a huge heart and is so approachable. She helped me through one of the hardest few days I’ve had, and I only had known her for two days. She was so easy to work with and paid perfect attention to all aspects of my care, planning each one around me. She always made sure I was extremely comfortable and I will never forget how kind she was, I am so thankful. ❤️
Louise looked after me during the night and she was also a kind soul with a very large heart. She was very keen on making sure comfort was my priority and that I was cared for to a high standard at all times. She was so lovely, and again, someone whom I will never forget.
The unit seemed overly very friendly with good interpersonal relationships, each memeber of the team worked astutely with one another and nothing was ever a bother. My heart is very touched, and this isn’t an experience I expected coming into hospital.
Thank-You so much ERI ICU ❤️❤️❤️
