Ripley minor injuries unit is a credit to the NHS. I suffered a mallet finger injury during the lockdown and wasn't sure if I should go to hospital so phoned Ripley Hospital. The nurse I spoke to on the phone was lovely and reassured me that it was something that needed to be seen. I went in and was greeted by a lovely man who took my temperature and asked me questions about coronavirus symptoms. The safety measures put in place because of coronavirus were excellent and I felt at ease being there.
I can't praise the staff highly enough from reception to medical staff they maintain professionalism while being extremely friendly and approachable. It must be hard for them working in PPE but they are still cheerful and friendly. The care I received was top class. The hospital is clean and well organised and the staff are an absolute credit to NHS.
