"Understanding at last"

About: Northern General Hospital

A massive thank you to the doctor that made the effort in these difficult times to ring me yesterday and discuss my ongoing pain issues. For the first time in as long as I can remember I felt like I was being listened to and that my pint of view had some relevance. From a patient perspective there is nothing worse than being made to feel stupid and irrelevant just because you have the audacity to challenge a clinicians approach to your condition, a situation I had experienced with other members of the pain management team.

Thank you very much for restoring some faith in the process.

Thank you for leaving feedback, although we are sorry to learn you have not had a consistently positive experience. The clinician concerned will really appreciate and be very encouraged by your kind words.

With thanks and best wishes
