I would like to use this platform to highlight the outstanding professionalism of my mental health nurse. Her care and compassion over the past year or more has provided me with support, understanding, and the confidence to seek help and be more proactive in helping myself get better.
Not only has she supported me,the patient, but she has also supported my wife as part of my care. Her patience, understanding and compassion is to be commended especially in these difficult times we are all facing. I thought my mental health care would cease with covid19 and feared my depression and anxiety would increase but my nurse has been consistent support by phoning and loading with my psychiatrist and GP about my medication needs. She phones when she says she will, never makes me feel a bother, even though she probably has a huge workload and has things going on in her own life.
I am not sure if this is the platform to use her name but I would appreciate if someone can contact me so I can give you her details so she can be recognised.
