"Lovely staff"

I came to this practice a couple of months ago for a surgical abortion. I was obviously really emotional, but the team made me feel as comfortable and calm as possible

The day was quite long, a lot of sitting and waiting which I expected but the actual procedure was over fairly quickly. I had the conscious sedation so I remember parts of it but not everything, I almost didn’t have this because I have a huge fear of needles so I didn’t want it but thankfully I did as it took away a lot of my panic. A nurse stayed with me, held my hand and kept talking to me whilst the procedure was happening.

I was then taken to a recovery room and had the loveliest nurse look after me, I left soon after and by the next day I felt pretty much back to normal. My sickness has disappeared and my mood had levelled back out shortly after.

Thank you so much to all the staff, even the receptionist who found me some snacks! You were all so caring and really patient with me. You made a huge difference to an otherwise horrible day.
