"Admitted with Covid-19"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Breathing and lung problems (Respiratory Wards 7a, 7b, 7c & 7d)

(as a relative),

My husband was admitted with Covid-19 and was luck to survive. He was admitted to ward 7D & cannot put into words how grateful he is to the nurses & domestic staff for caring for him like he was one of their own. It was hard not being able to see him but the warmth that you showed him was reassuring to me. Eternally grateful xx

Hello,

I'm so sorry to hear that your husband has been unwell, what a worrying time it must have been for you both. I hope he's feeling much better now.

Thank you for sharing this lovely feedback with us. I can imagine it must have been difficult being unable to see your husband when he was unwell, but I'm so pleased to hear that he was looked after so well, and that this helped to reassure you. Thank you again for sharing these kind words. I will pass them on to the team on Ward 7D, who I'm sure will be absolutely delighted to receive them.

Best wishes,

Rachel
