I have just had baby number 3.
My maternity care was provided by the midwifery team in oban and I gave birth in Paisley
The Oban team were just fantastic from start to finish, there was continuity and a real feel of being involved and cared for to such a high standard. My assigned midwife was Rosie who I can’t praise enough although everyone has been great.Clearly the current climate is one no one could ever have planned for, it’s certainly not the kind of environment you want to give birth in, but everyone has been so calm and focused on providing good care, even where it has resulted In a huge change of working practices, the shift has been seamless. I gave birth in Paisley and was forewarned about the visiting restrictions in place however, as my induction date loomed I was dreading going in knowing my husband could only be present for a short period of time. However, the team in Paisley were also fantastic with the staff going above and beyond to put everyone at ease.I truly cannot thank everyone involved enough.
"Fantastic from start to finish"
