"Fantastic 111 experience"

I am so grateful for the 111 help I received on Tues when my 2yo was unwell with uncontrollable fever and vomiting. At the height of the coronavirus pandemic I could not get through to our GP and was unsure what to do and extremely frightened with a floppy toddler. I accidentally got through to the covid helpline at first and the call handler was so lovely and kind and immediately put me through to the right dept where again the call handler was professional and kind and sent paramedics to us almost instantaneously. I am so grateful to these 2 women and genuinely wish I could thank them personally. We were so scared - thankfully he is fine and it’s a viral infection but I remain hugely impressed with how quickly we were able to get help, particularly at what must be a demanding time for call handlers. Thank you so much.
