"Horrible experience "

Absolutely awful. Went in for a burn on my arm and the nurses were so lovely and helpful but then a male nurse practitioner came in and was so rude. Told me it was only sunburn from a 200 degree oven burn. Also told me he couldn’t see my burn in a really rude way and then poked my burn without asking. Asked me what I would usually do for sunburn and when I said nothing he said ‘do that then’. Was so rude and said ‘why have you come then’ implying I shouldn’t have wasted his time there. When he asked what I had done to treat the burn and I mentioned aloe Vera he said ‘well that won’t do anything will it’. Made me so upset and cry, made me feel like an idiot. I went to the Cumberland centre on advice from 111, only to be made to feel stupid. Went away with no treatment for my burn. Patients are people and should be treated with care and kindness. Not what I got.
