"Admission to hospital with covid-19"

I was admitted to Frederick Salmon Ward at Northwick Park Hospital a couple of weeks ago with a severe pneumonia due to COVID-19. I have been discharged and I am currently recovering well at home. 

I would like to express my sincere gratitude towards all the staff who have helped me during my admission. I was treated with the utmost care and respect by everyone I encountered at the hospital. I felt safe and well looked after from the start of my hospital experience in A&E up until I was brought home by ambulance.

I am so amazed by the hard work and dedication of all the doctors, nurses, other health care professionals and non-medical professionals working at the hospital during this tough time. It was certainly a terrifying experience to be admitted to hospital with COVID-19, however the communication skills of the doctors and nurses was outstanding. I am so thankful that everything was explained clearly not only to myself, but also my daughter at home via telephone. Both myself and my family are extremely grateful for all you have done for us and we pray that you and your families are all safe during this crisis. Thank you again!
