My mother rang up to ask to speak to a doctor because she had a throbbing pain in her leg, a sign of a blood clot. The person on the reception was extremely rude, told her to ring back on Monday that there were no appointments and that she couldn’t speak to anyone.
We rang 111 who were concerned with the pain and disgusted by the way the receptionist dismissed her, they rang and got her an appointment straight away. The doctor she has seen was also extremely rude and inconsiderate, did not explain anything when my mother was distressed. Disgusting and shocking, you are suppose to care for people and be kind, that’s your job.
