About: University Hospital Wishaw / General Medicine (Wards 5 & 8)

(as a relative),

My Dad was in Ward 8 at Wishaw General. He was classed as for palliative care. From the start Alanna who was a staff nurse was brilliant. She was very caring and was able to explain everything to us. She really showed she cared and is very suited to her chosen career. From the family, we thank you for your care and compassion at this difficult time. All the staff were very caring, however Alanna stood out.

Dear Mac family,

Thank you for taking the time to get in touch at what must be a very difficult time for you all. I'm sure the team and particularly Alanna will be thankful of your feedback. They all do amazing kindnesses for people everyday and you're right, it's a vocation for them, not a job.
