"Dr didn’t listen to me "

I’m having real problems with my shoulder which is getting worse. I’m now getting pains down my arms and pins and needles in my hands . Because I’ve previously had cancer I asked the doctor if she could refer me for a urgent MRI scan as the ultra sound scanning facility is closed. She completely dismissed my request saying you have had a X-ray and if you had cancer it would show up on that which is not entirely true. I’ve had serious lung problems in the past too and this can be linked to shoulder pain. I also told her I was waking up as tired as when I went to bed so she says she would send me for blood tests and a chest X-ray ??? I’m disappointed but I am aware it’s difficult to diagnose things over the phone. I let the dr I would be holding the practice responsible if my condition turns out to be cancer but hopefully it’s not.
