"Community Phlebotomist"

I have to commend how patient centered this service is.   With the current virus they are going way above their usual excellent service to ensure I am not being sent too far or getting bloods done in one place and as quickly as possible   Karen has been amazing as we are struggling to get cross matching in and she is exploring all options to make this happen so I’m not sat in the ward when I have transfusions for hours waiting for them to do it and then get results.   As a patient who has a 45 min journey to get in to Crosshouse I really appreciate all their efforts. Thank you!
