A broken ankle sent me to A and E. After symptom checking for Covid 19 I was sent to the old endoscopy unit which now serves as the non- covid unit. I received exemplary treatment from appropriately protected staff. The follow up fracture clinic appointment was at West Berks community hospital a week later. Briliant staff and treatment but I also want to recognise the work of the team that has completely reorganised how the hospital works so that 'normal' injuries and illness can still be treated safely and efficiently well away from those sufering from Covid 19. This couldn't be done without a flexible, dedicated workforce and considerable ingenuity and organisation. Well done !
"Awesome organisation"
