I have been attending Inclusion in Alershot for some time now, and have found my regular meetings - Stepping Stones on Mondays, and Wednesday pm ACT (?) - to be really valuable, especially Pete's Monday meetings as it really sets me up well for the week ahead.
Yesterday, Pete really excelled himself: whilst admitting to not exactly being a techy, he successfully set up a complete Stepping Stones meeting online, which is exactly what I needed.
It gave me (again) a great start to the week; the chance to speak to other addicts/alcoholics; and to reconnect with the people I had got to know face to face.
I don't know how long it took to organise, but Pete invited me by email, called me on Sunday to remind me, and ran the meeting brilliantly under very different circumstances.
All in all, I am grateful for his service during lockdown as I am also grateful to the whole of Inclusion Aldershot and the NHS in too.
"A superlative and much-needed service, for me and others"
