"Excellent care"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Minor Injuries Unit

(as the patient),

I attended to MIU at QEUH as I had injured my ankle whilst running. The care I received was excellent;   I was seen and triaged quickly by the nurse and then seen by one of the physiotherapists. He was extremely knowledgable and thorough with his exam and I was sent for an x-ray to rule out a fracture. I was seen very quickly in the radiography department all staff were very kind and caring and put me at ease. I returned and was seen by the physiotherapist and one of the orthopaedic doctors, diagnosed with a stress fracture and given some very helpful advice on how to manage this and aid my recovery. The whole experience was very easy all staff were extremely knowledgable and caring and the service ran very smoothly and efficiently, I am so very thankful to all the staff   involved in my care on this day.
